Yesterday I completed some of the sketches and book wording design on the first eight pages of this new book. I look forward to completing the illustrations and getting this book printed as soon as our company can!

I've shared the book manuscript with just a few people and have had great responses. It is one of the favorites of young mothers so far out of all the children's books I've written. Though the book carries a general theme and is not necessarily Christian in text, it teaches "good things" worth repeating and should be enjoyable as you read together as a family!

I plan on adding color for the book cover and keeping the illustrations for this book strictly simple. I've read a lot of books especially children's books since I've been a child and was always so pleased to see how some artists of famous books have kept the illustrations simple.

Question: Do you have a favorite old children's book that lacks colored illustrations or is pretty simple?
